Prior to
commencing his legal career, Mr. Facca was employed with
a foundation contractor working on commercial and
industrial projects. Since commencing his legal career,
Mr. Facca’s practice has focused primarily on all
aspects of construction law, from contract review and
drafting, to claim resolution through litigation,
arbitration and facilitation/mediation. Martindale
Hubbell has rated Patrick A. Facca as AV in both legal
ability and ethical standard. Also, from 2006 to the
present, Mr. Facca has been selected as a Michigan Super
Lawyer for construction litigation.
Mr. Facca has represented Owners, Design Builders,
Construction Managers, General Contractors, Sureties and
Trade Contractors on various construction related
issues, such as breach of contract, delay and
acceleration, construction liens, differing site
conditions and pay if paid. Projects have involved
automotive plants, power plants, education facilities
(K-12 and university projects), commercial buildings,
retail developments, sports facilities and casinos.
The American Arbitration Association has selected Mr.
Facca as an Arbitrator for its large complex arbitration
panel, as well as a Mediator for construction disputes.
In addition, Mr. Facca has been selected by private
parties to be the Arbitrator or Mediator for
construction matters. Mr. Facca has been selected to act
as an arbitrator or mediator in over 100 construction
related disputes.
